What a Speech Test actually measures

Two halves, and they are not the same thing. The delivery half is measured from your waveform in your own browser: pace, pauses, filler sounds, pitch range, whether pauses land between ideas or inside them. No model is involved and it is free on every answer, forever. The language half needs your words transcribed and read — vocabulary, grammar, structure, whether you answered the question, specifics, economy — with evidence quoted back from your own transcript. That half costs us real money per answer, and it is what a plan pays for.

Questions worth asking before you pay

What happens when a plan runs out?
Nothing is taken away. Your history, your recordings and your delivery metrics stay. You simply stop getting the language half of new answers until you renew.
Why is there a fair-use limit at all?
Because each analysed answer costs us about two US cents in transcription and model time, and the Indian monthly price is less than a dollar. The limit is what makes that price possible rather than a trick to sell you more — sixty answers a month is roughly two a day, far more practice than this asks of anyone.
Do you keep my recordings?
For 90 days, so you can hear yourself change, and you can delete any session yourself at any time. Drills are never recorded — only the number they scored.
What if I change my mind?
You keep the week you have started and get your money back for every whole week you have not — and within 24 hours, if you have not used it, everything comes back. The whole policy is on the refunds page.
Why is the price different in different countries?
Because a fair price in Delhi is not a fair price in London. The price you see is set by where you are, on our side, not by anything your browser can edit.
