Three different things are sold here and none of them is refunded quite the same way, so all three are written out below. A subscription and an exam course pass are both time you have bought, and part of that time can be returned. A one-time course has no expiry and is delivered in full the moment you open it, so there is nothing left to return.
Professional English is a one-time purchase with no expiry, and it is not refundable. It is delivered in full as soon as you open it: every lesson, every practice paper and every drill is available immediately and permanently.
Because you cannot return it, you can read a good deal of it before you pay, at no cost:
That is deliberate. We would rather you decided against buying than bought something that was not what you expected, and this is said here and on the buy button itself — before payment, not after.
These three are sold by the week (₹200) or the month (₹699), scoped to that one exam — not a one-time purchase and not a site-wide plan.

A week pass does not renew itself, so there is nothing ongoing to cancel out of — "cancelling" one is simply not buying the next. A month pass is refundable only in its first two weeks: ₹200 is kept for the week in progress and for every week already finished, and nothing comes back once you are two weeks in. Access continues to the end of whatever week you are in when you ask, the same as a subscription.
If you bought within the last 24 hours and have not run a Speech Test on the plan, we refund it in full — any plan, no questions. Buying the wrong thing and noticing immediately should not cost you anything.

Worked example. A monthly plan at ₹149, cancelled on day 10: you are in week 2, so you keep it, and the two whole weeks after it come back — ₹149 × 14 ÷ 30 = ₹69.53.
A day pass is not refundable once a Speech Test has run on it, because the thing you bought has been delivered in full. A one-week plan is never partly refundable for the same reason: there is only ever the week you are in.
We do not switch you off the moment a refund is issued. You have paid for the week in progress and we have not refunded it, so it stays yours until it runs out. Nothing you have recorded is deleted by a refund — your sessions, your reports and your history are unaffected.
Email contact@howyoutalk.com from the address you signed in with, and say which plan. You do not need to explain why. We aim to reply within two working days and to issue the refund within five, though how long it then takes to appear is up to your bank — usually five to seven working days for a card.
Refunds go back to the card or account you paid from. We cannot send a refund anywhere else.
If a Speech Test failed, produced nothing, or was analysed badly enough to be useless, tell us and we will refund it whatever the timing above says. A policy is for ordinary cancellations, not for us charging you for something that did not work.
Nothing renews automatically and we do not store your card — the payment is taken once, by Razorpay, and the plan simply ends. So there is no subscription to stop. What you can do is end a plan early and take back the whole weeks you have not used, which is what the button below does.
